Creamy Berry Frozen Yogurt-(Navratri Special)

    A very jiffy and simple recipe on this Navratri celebration..-Frozen Berry Yogurt in just few minutes so prepare it and enjoy it while playing Dandiya these days!!! It's so easy to make, I can hardly call it a recipe.

Ingredients:
 1 Cup Frozen mixed Berries
 1/2 Cup Yogurt
 2-3 tbls heavy whipping cream
 Few drops of Vanilla extract
 1 tbls Honey
 1 tbls Brown Sugar
Method:
* In food processor or blender, add frozen berries, yogurt, whipping cream, honey, brown sugar and vanilla extract.
* Blend for a minute or until the mixture is creamy.
* Serve soft or Transfer to an air tight freezable container and freeze it for at least 3 hours or overnight.
* Store it in the freezer for up to 2 weeks..

Stuffed Tindora

  I promise, Tindora lovers will enjoy today's recipe.:)  A perfect stuffing recipe that couldn't get any better. You will need good quality, tender Tindora(Ivy gourds) to prepared this dry saute. Classic stuffed vegetable at its best!!

Enjoy this version of stuffed Tindora Masala..


Ingredients:
500 grm Tindora
2 tbls Oil
2-3 Dry red chilli
1 tbls Dry coriander seeds
1 tbls Chana dal
1 tbls Urad dal
1 tsp Rice
1 tbls Sesame seeds
1 tbls Coconut powder
10 grm Tamarind
1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
Pinch of Turmeric
1 tbls Chopped green chilli
1/2 cup Chopped onions
1 tbls Chopped curry leaves
some grated coconut and chopped cilantro for garnishing.
Salt to taste.
Method:
* First wash the Tindora and cut them into quaters.

* Heat the pan, add dry red chillies, coriander seeds, chana dal, urad dal, rice and dry roast them.

* Add sesame seeds, coconut powder, tamarind pieces and saute them.

* Turn off the stove and let it cool.
* Blend them in a blender using little water, make a coarse paste, add salt mix it.


* Stuff the masala into the Tindora.
* Take a flat and wide pan.
* Heat oil in a pan.
* Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
* Saute and add turmeric and stuffed Tindora.
* Rotate the pan and put the lid on let it cookfor 12-15 minutes on medium-slow flame.
* Add chopped onions, chopped green chillies, chopped curry leaves and salt.
* Cook them again on slow flame for about 10 mintes or untill Tindora gets cooked.
* Turn off the stove.


* Garnish with some grated coconut and chopped cilantro.
* Enjoy Stuffed Tindora Masala with Roti, Parathas or Naan..

Spinach-Poha Cutlet

     Spinach-Poha Cutlet- A easy and healthy snack recipe for #tea-time or even any time..The best way to stave off starvation without guilt is to snack on good food. And this is the healthy food recipe with super easy ingredients and method. let's try it.. It's Tea-time.!

Ingredients:
1 cup Poha (Pressed Rice)
2-3 medium size Boiled and Mashed Potatoes
1/2 cup Chopped Spinach
3/4 cup Chopped Onion
2 tbls All-purpose flour(maida)
2 tbls chopped Cilantro
1 tbls Green chili, ginger & garlic paste
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1/4 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 tbls oil + some for shallow fry
Salt to taste
Lemon juice to taste
Method:
* Soak the poha for about 10-15 minutes.
* Heat the oil in the pan.
* Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, green chilli-ginger-garlic paste, chopped onions and sauté.
* Add all purpose flour(maida) and mix.
* Add Poha and mashed Potatoes, mix well.
* Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and stir well.
* Add chopped spinach, salt, lemon juice and cilantro.

* Turn off the stove.* let it cool down for a while and mix well.












* Divide the mixture into portions and shape each into a cutlet.














* Shallow fry all the cutlets with some oil on the pan on medium heat till golden brown from both sides.
* Serve them with ketchup or any kind of chutney.
